Photovoltaic water heaters use electricity directly from solar modules to produce domestic hot water, without requiring an inverter or battery for normal solar operation. Suitable for remote homes, holiday homes, motorhomes and residential installations, the range includes compact off-grid boilers and hybrid models with mains-powered backup heating. The selection includes Fothermo PVB-10, PVB-30 and PVB-80 solar water boilers, PVB-30-AC and PVB-80-AC hybrid models, the CPVB-10 caravan boiler and the ROD 1000 photovoltaic heating element for compatible existing hot-water tanks, alongside the PSU-18 power adapter.
